The symbol of the shield is borrowed from the ‘Coat of Arms’ of the House of Mewar registered with the College of Arms, London, UK in the late 19th century.

Ma Saraswati, the Hindu goddess of education resides in the centre of the shield and showers her divine blessings on all educational initiatives of the Vidyadan Trust. Maharana Mewar Vidya Mandir under the Vidyadan Trust, constituted along with Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, perpetuates ‘learning and teaching’ as a sustainable tenet of ‘Eternal Mewar’.
