Projects & Activities

The Trust is divesting its vast reserve of music to 5M. 5M or Mewar Memorable Millennium Melodious Music (P) Ltd. is a Music Company under the guardianship of the Maharana Kumbha Sangeet Kala Trust. AVA Audio Private Ltd. is an external private agency commissioned to work together with 5M to clean up and convert spools of music into digital tapes. AVA has now been given the DAT tapes, which they will further clean and transfer the contents of these tapes onto a master CD.

This master CD is being commercially produced and marketed. AVA takes care of marketing and packaging of these tapes/CD's. For further information and details of released CD's, please click here

1. Analog Tape Restoration Work (1999-200).

Conversion of 286 old spools into 96 DAT tapes and then into CD’s to launch as the Royal collection of Mewar. The Royal collection of Mewar consists of Dagar Brother’s Dhrupad in Raga Miya ki Malhar, Megh, Kafi ki Hori, Bageshree, Puriya, Pilu and Rajwari Geet. 6 CD’s and 7 cassettes of “The Royal Collection of Mewar” launched and have been brought into national and international market.

2. Software “Music Inventory System” has been developed it’s a kind of computerised music library which consists of about 5,000 assortments including:

• Audio Cassette
• Extended play Record 45 RPM “06” inch
• Extended play Record 45 RPM “12” inch
• Gramophone Record 78 RPM “10” inch
• Gramophone Record 78 RPM “12” inch
• Long Play Record 33-1/3 RPM “06” inch
• Long Play Record 33-1/3 RPM “10” inch

3. Developed a website www.mewarmusic.com to promote the music of Mewar

4. One day National Seminar on – " Indian Classical Music and Mewar" in 2005 with support of the Ministry of Culture.

5. The trust also arranges classical based programmes on the occasion of Guru Purnima, Kartik Purnima etc.
