Unbroken Vedic religious and spiritual practices have made the ancient temples of the region of Mewar a rich repository of Indian history and divine grace. Custodians of the House of Mewar has been preserving and developing these ancient temples, ensuring the age-old religious practises and public festivals are kept alive in a fast-changing materialistic world. Administered by communities of traditional priests and assisted by professionals, the temples of Mewar reflect the ongoing institutionalization by the present Custodian of the House of Mewar, Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar, to preserve the heritage of Mewar in the twenty-first century.
